Dr. Banks, Dr. DelBene, Dr. Hale and Dr. Przynosch are members
of the medical staffs of Haywood Regional Medical Center,
CJ Harris Regional Hospital, Murphy Medical Center, and Highlands-Cashiers
Hospital. Dr. DelBene and Dr. Przynosch are also on staff
at Missions/St. Joseph's in Asheville.
Though some treatments must be performed at the hospital,
most can safely be done in the office.
Consultative care is given to approximately 50 long term
care facilities covering an area of eleven counties.
Office-Based Podiatric Surgery
Though we always exhaust all conservative means of treatment
first, surgery is sometimes indicated.
Dr. Banks, Dr. DelBene, and Dr. Hale and Dr. Przynosch encourage
office-based surgery to decrease stress on the patient and
to significantly decrease the total cost of care.
Modern podiatric surgery allows minimal lifestyle alteration,
often permitting ambulation the day of surgery.
We prefer to see patients by appointment. Appointments can
be made by calling each respective office location during
business hours. Frequently, appointments are available the
same day.
Though we try to stay on schedule, emergencies do arise;
hence delays are sometimes inevitable. We will see patients
with emergencies as they develop. Please note that this policy
will be extended to you when you are in need.
We do attempt to see emergencies same day, with other appointments scheduled within the week.
